The Euro

Filed under: Europe and Europeans part 5 — admin @ 3:19 pm

The Euro is the single currency of the European Union. Each nation in the union has made strides to incorporate the Euro as its sole currency. The advantages of the Euro include easy travel between countries as travelers no longer have to change money as they visit different European countries. There are also big benefits economically having only one currency. Companies doing business all over Europe no longer have to fight over currency exchange rates and banks can borrow and loan money in a single currency. A solid Euro also helps the EU become more stable globally.
